Olive Extras, Tapenades, Pesto, Dukkah
The Olive Oil Shop has three varieties of Black Olive Tapenade.
Traditionally eaten as a pre dinner dip/spread with water crackers or crisp breads and can also be used in pasta dishes, pizza bases and as a stuffing for hard boiled eggs.
The first being a traditional (plain) tapenade that consists of Australian olives, mustard, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil and capers.
The second variety is a Black Olive Tapenade with Anchovies that consists of everything in the traditional (plain) tapenade but has simply had anchovies added.
The third variety is a Black Olive Tapenade with Sundried Tomato, Roasted Capsicum and a mild chilli. With this tapenade we have removed the capers from the traditional (plain) tapenade and added the Sundried Tomato, roasted capsicum and mild chilli.
The Olive Oil Shop has three varieties of Dukkah.
The first being a Traditional Dukkah, with a mixture of various nuts and finished off with cummin and coriander. The second being a Chilli Dukkah, with the mixture being the same as Traditional, but with a mild chilli added to give the finish a bit of a kick. The third variety being a Bush Dukkah, with the mixture being the same as Traditional, but with Lemon Myrtle, Dorrigo Pepper and Macadamia nuts added.
